iPhone App Redesign & Promo Video
THE PROBLEM
The JCP mobile app was in serious need of an update as new user downloads were dropping.
BUSINESS OBJECTIVE
Increase app usage to drive more sales by leveraging more in-store features.
DESIGN OBJECTIVE
Provide a fresh look and feel.
USER OBJECTIVE
I want to quickly find what I'm looking for online and in-store with help from an app.
RESEARCH
Research showed most of our competitors were way ahead of us in app design, features, and ease of use.
DESIGN
We partnered with Deloitte Digital to determine what we wanted our app to do and make it happen. After months of design, testing and redesign we finally launched our new app. I also wrote and art directed the promo video.
RESULT
Our new JCP app received numerous accolades - both internally and externally. User downloads doubled. Online and in-store sales jumped by 3%. Customer feedback was very positive.
* I also created the storyboard and art directed the video shoot and editing.
